Unforgettable 2020
2020 is definitely a different year for everyone but let’s not talk about sad things. Fortunately enough here in the Azores, everything has been controlled since the beginning and we could refuge in fishing. Despite having very few people coming to fish this year, we still had the best fishing season from the last 8-10 years.
Some of the highlights can easily be the Azorean Tuna Super Grand Slam catching all 5 fives of large tuna present in our waters (bluefin, bigeye, yellowfin, albacore, and skipjack) and the multiple days of having multiple double-headers of 500 pounds plus blue marlins! With that, and according to billfishreport.com, we had one of the finest days of marlin fishing in the entire world!!! So it is definitely a season that we will never forget!
For next year we still have some prime dates available, particularly in the last 2 weeks of August and the first 2 of October. In September we have only 4 days available!
